The Air Cargo Complex at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport was commissioned on 23rd March 2008. It is the foremost cargo complex in India to have implemented a concept of an Integrated Cargo Facility housing both domestic and international facilities under one roof. This complex has a built-in area of 14,330 Sq meters and is a modular building with a capacity to handle cargo throughput of 100,000 MT annually. The Air Cargo has dedicated cargo apron facilities both for handling regular and freighter operations.

The Air Cargo Complex evolved out of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and came into existence on 23rd March 2008, by SEW Infrastructure Ltd,for facilitating Imports and Exports.
