SEW launches Swasakthi 

Swarna Bharathi is a voluntary organisation engaged in providing educational, vocational and health services to the needy in Nellore district.

Former BJP president M. Venkaiah Naidu and Praja Rajyam leader K. Chiranjeevi on Tuesday expressed concern over the growing disparities between urban and rural areas and urged people to contribute their mite towards all-round development of villages. Mr. Venkaiah Naidu's daughter I. Deepa Venkat is the managing trustee of Swarna Bharath Trust.

Mr. Venkaiah Naidu said the Trust's activities would be gradually expanded to different parts of the State including Visakhapatnam and Krishna district.

Stating that government alone would not be able to provide all the amenities, he urged the people to participate in the development of villages and supplement the efforts of the administration. Swarna Bharath was started with the objective of ¿giving back something¿ to the society and one's native place.

Mr. Chiranjeevi lauding the services being rendered by Swarna Bharath offered to join hands with the organisation.

Eminent Vedic scholar, Malladi Chandrasekhara Sastry, well-known ghazal singer Srinivas, SEW Foundation MD, Rajasekhar and Chaiman Swarna Bharathi Trust, Maganti Rajendra Prasad spoke.

SEW to work on the APGENCO Nagarjuna Sagar Tail Pond project 

The Nagarjuna Sagar Tail Pond project work was awarded to SEW today. This involves the excavation in right flank area from Ch.140.90m to Ch.292.90m downstream from the dam axis at an average cost of INR 36.64 million. This project was awarded by APGENCO.

SEW takes up Guwahati - Lumding Project 

The scope of work includes the construction of minor bridges including protection work, Retaining Wall, Toe wall between Railway Km 20.00 to Km 30.50 between New Guwahati and Digaru(Phase-1) in Guwahati-Lumding section at an average cost of INR 51.7 million.

Dummugudem Project Circle appoints SEW to execute the Dummugudem - Nagarjuna Sagar Tail pond link canal project 

The project includes tunneling for a length of 36.32KM, Construction of Surge Pools, Draft tubes, Pump house, etc at a cost of INR 9990 million.
